Cava Athanassiadi White
Protected Geographical
Indication Attiki When opposites attract
It was first released under the name 'Cava King Minos'.
It is produced from Savatiano grapes and involves white vinification in stainless steel tank, at a temperature of 15-16°C, followed by a period of 6 months during which the young wine is left to age in French oak barrels. After that, aging continues for at least 6 more months in the bottle.
It impresses any wine lover with its brilliant yellow colour, its rich aromas of wild flowers and hints of citrus fruit.
A successful marriage of Savatiano and lively Assyrtiko, resulting in a balanced, refreshing, full-bodied wine with aromas of butter, chestnut and vanilla.
